Product Tips

Size: (inches)

Bleed:

Bleed information refers to elements outside the finished piece. The artwork extends beyond the cutting border giving enough room for adjustments while cutting. Standard bleed is 1/8th of an inch.

Crop:

Resolution:

Resolution is the detail held by an image, the number of pixels it contains measured in pixels per inch (ppi) or dots per inch (dpi).

Resolution Required:

All artwork submissions to Print & Art must be 300 dpi or higher in resolution which warrants superior quality in printing.

How can I check the resolution of any image in Adobe photoshop?

In the Image menu, select Image Size and the following dialog box will appear showing the image size and resolution:Please refer image below.

UV Coating:

Refers to the surface coating which gives a very shiny appearance. This is done by using specially developed inks exposed to UV radiation causing them to harden instantly and produce high levels of gloss.

Matte finish means not shiny, no-gloss, dull look in which colors appear softer. Text is easier to read in matte finish than with gloss or UV. A finish that is flat, but retains more ink from being absorbed by the paper  producing an excellent image.
